    DefaultReggie's new harness..

Thought I'd do a fun post. Here's Reggie in his new harness from today. Not only does he look handsome, it helps Mom help him get up every now and then. Can you tell that Reg has places to go and people to see?

Aaww, handsome fella! How's he feeling today? I found Mick's harness to be a great aide when I had to assist or steady him.

He sure is fit and trim. He looks great in his new harness. I wish we would have had one for our Reggie when he needed it. We used a towel to help him, but the harness would have been awesome. Handsome boy!

Some people are like slinkies. Not really good for much, but bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.

I like the looks of it, but out of curiosity, is it to support the back end? If so, is it fitting him correctly? Trying to picture how it works, from what I can see from the picture, it will lift him up from the front end...am I wrong?

    Shannon,

You are correct, sharp eye. It really isn't a backend harness but general support. When he has trouble getting up, it helps me pull him up and forward to allow his back legs to get into position. It is also helpful guiding him up and down the steps until I can get his ramp in place. I am getting him a backend harness but so far he is okay with walking. It's standing, stairs, and getting up that are the issue.

Is that the Ruff Wear Web Master Harness??

If so, how do you like it?? Strongly considering it for Caspian - use as a harness for the car, or whenever we're out and about.

Very handsome in his new harness

Yes it is, Ceridwen. It looks like a really sturdy well made harness. Easy to adjust and fits well. Looks pretty comfy on Reggie. I just got it today ;-), so I like it so far but haven't had a lot of experience with it.
