I must have stitched up over 15 stuffies this weekend. I kept finding more and more in our basement that just needed a little surgery. I worked on them at the kitchen table with an avid audience. Remy was so funny! I'd finish one..toss it to him and he would run off with it in his mouth as if it were his most prized possession. Then he'd come trotting back to see what I was working on next and suddenly THAT toy was the must-have toy of the moment and he would whine the whole time I was working on it...Repeat that for 2 ducks, 2 geese, 2 bears, 2 bunnies, a polar bear, pheasant, warthog, fox, pig and various other critters! So cute. He was so happy to have his buddies back. An hour or so of my time to give him such joy...can't put a price on that.
Of course...that was Saturday afternoon...we are now down to I think 5 of those left that don't require new surgery! LOL

I'm glad to hear all the patients made it through.
Condolences on those who are back on the injured-reserved list so soon.

Ugh. I just performed some amputations and limp repairs on a bunch of Abbey's toys this past week. Some of them were pretty bad.. most of them are empty from bitey face games that rip them open.. haha.
So a stitch in time saves fifteen not nine !
Shows what I know !
I wish we could do that here, however, ours are in lots and lots of pieces, not sure I want to take the time to reconstruct them!
