DefaultWorried about Frankie, another MCT? :(

He had an mast cell tumor removed from his left front elbow a year and a half ago. Yesterday, I noticed a bump on his elbow pad thingy. Upon closer inspection, it was about the size of half a pea, and it was oozing a bit of puss/blood. I cleaned it with warm water, and then put some hydrogen peroxide on it a couple of times. This morning it's all dry, but there is still a squishy little bump.

Could this be another MCT? I'm so scared.

Here's a pic after the MCT removal surgery. You can see the stitches where it was located. I circled the area where the new lump is.

I bet it's not, but you know you will worry until you have it tested.

My husband thinks it just an infection of some kind.

ginger had one on her elbow...turned out to be ingrown hair that was infected. it also had puss and blood. the vet trimmed the fur then found the offending hair and pulled it out. she put a cream (can't remember the name) on it to dry it up. hopefully that's all it is on frankie.
