    DefaultWearing collars in the house

Up until about a year ago both my pups wore collars all of the time ( Including Samson who wore them for the whole of his life with me ) !

Looking at Cam's pups ( In his sig pic ) I thought how beautiful they were without their collars and ever since then they only wear them when out for walks.

My friend's dog Murphy wears his all of the time and has a permanently bald ring around his neck !

Having said that he is one of the most hyper dogs that I have ever known - boundless energy so that can't help !

    How about you ??

My dogs are naked!! Unless we're going out the front door or having a playdate...they don't need their bling.

Maggie wears hers all the time. She has a beautiful coat and gets brushed all the time so I think that might help. No bare spots around collar. Her collar is loose fitting if that makes a difference.

PS: When I take her to the dog park I have people there tell me that I should take it off while we are there because it could cause an accident while she is playing with other dogs. I do not agree with that so I leave it on.

Sadie mostly wears hers but NO tags hanging from it. Her rabies tag got stuck in the floor vent and she freaked out before I got to her and almost ripped it out of the floor!!

Thank God I was home so I could get it off of her before she hurt herself.

No collars here! Too easy to get playing while Mom is gone and get seriously hurt!

    We go naked.

I like the way it looks much better, plus then you don't get that wierd indentation around their neck from wearing a collar all the time.

Nallah prefers to be naked anyways.
