Hubby and I were talking about getting another puppy the other day. He'll get to choose it. Likely a female and though I suspect she'll be black, he suggested he might like a dark yellow (fox red) girl. We are going to wait until Dozer is two or three years old though.
Last week hubby was calling Dozer "the replacement dog" until I reminded him Dozer was coming regardless of Cybil's death. Had Cybil still been around I still would have got a little yellow male. Now he calls Dozer "dog number two". LOL
FTR, he calls him "the replacement dog" in jest. He doesn't harbour any ill feelings towards Dozer, though he does wish Dozer's lipstick wouldn't stick out so often. LOL
I know, all of this talk of puppies is making me get puppy fever!
Dozer is such a cutie!!
Unfortunately, the "lipstick" situation doesn't get any better...Tucker is 7, he has been neutered and his "red rocket" comes out ALL the time...it is SOOO gross! When I was a kid, we had male dogs growing up and once they were fixed, I don't remember it ever coming out...I was SO naive when I got Tucker...right after he was fixed, it came out and I called the vet and said "I think you forgot something"...talk about sounding like an IDIOT!! LOL
