We are spending next week there...and of course bringing Bogey. I had heard that dogs were not allowed on the beaches, then I heard that they were allowed on some of the beaches...anyone know FOR SURE?

Thanks

I know for sure that they are not allowing in the Panama City Park (or any other national park on the beach in FL), which is one of the nicer beaches in the area.

Other than that, I can't tell you for sure (I live in Tallahassee and have only visited at the park), but I know that most public beaches in Florida are banning dogs except in less busy areas.

Calling the Chamber of Commerce is a good idea.

Although I am sure obnoxious untrained human kids are welcome.......
Oh that's for sure.

I'm sure it's too late now, but for your next trip to Florida there are some pretty great dog-encouraged beaches relatively close. We go to St. George Island (which is about an hour and a half south of Tallahassee) and it's a great place for dogs.

I'm sure you'll have a great trip, anyway!
