    DefaultDog License/TDI

I just got Pitch's Renewal for his dog license. There was a section on there that says that Service Dogs, Guide Dogs, War Dogs, etc, are exempt from paying the fee. I called them, and told the clerk he has his CGC, and TDI. Does this fall under the "Service Dog"? It does~! I have to fill out a few forms, but get to wave the $13 fee!! Yeah!!!! Told him I would get him a new bone to celebrate!

OUCH~~!! Will kindly pay the $13. That is steep. Yet not sure what the Canadian difference is, but still dont' think that makes much of a difference.

    Whoa, that is seriously steep.

Here is Bucks County, PA our single year licenses are:

    MALE $8.00
    NEUTERED MALE $6.00

    FEMALE $8.00
    SPAYED FEMALE $6.00

We also have the option of Lifetime licenses if the pet is tatooed or micro-chipped. Since Lexi is micro-chipped, she has lifetime license, which cost $31 4 years ago. At those prices, it has paid for itself.

    My pretty girl, Lexi!

I pay a $10 kennel fee and can have up to 10 (maybe even more). Still would be nice if a CGC or TDI counted.

Wow!! This is the first I've heard of such a progressive policy for pet licensing. Good job by your local powers that be.

Yikes, you guys are lucky! $55/year for unaltered male/female, or $20/year for altered male/female in my county! (Yes, that much of a difference!!)

And I got stuck with the higher one - had to license at 4 months, and I didn't get Caspian neutered till 6 months (Wish I could have waited longer, but a completely different story). They don't even give a break for pups under a year.
