Towards the end of July I will schedule Barney's surgery for getting neutered, umbilical hernia repair and chipped. Also going to have the pre-surgery blood work done. I am already dreading it and will be glad when it's done.
I went thru this with Tal, and I know it will be ok, but it will sure be a relief when I get that call saying he is fine and I can pick him up that afternoon.
I have to take Midnight in for her annual shots and check up later this month and I will schedule Barney's surgery then.
Guy -- I use K-State's CollVetMed Teaching Hospital.
Don't know how far you are from Manhattan, KS, BUT their prices are reasonable AND their quality of service is usually great.

I know how you feel. The day I took Bruno, I missed him so much.
I know the feeling. I couldn't wait for the vet to call & tell me Abby was fine after her spay.
Guy, you know what I went through worrying about Champ - and it was needless, thank God. Good thoughts for Barney to sail through it all just like Champ did.

I know the feeling! I checked the phone every 10 minutes. He will be fine tho.

I know how you feel, Guy. Fitzgerald goes in next Friday for his "snip snip." I'm already worrying about it!
I know and I am about 2 hours away from Manhattan. I am really pleased with our vet, so I think that part is ok.Originally Posted by Bob Pr.
Now if, God forbid, some catastrophic illness should occur, then K-State's college would definitely be an option.
