Sorry for the length.
Although she loves Hershey Kisses, as she did previous dogs, I always get criticized for talking to HK. 'You are nuts. She doesn't understand you. She can't talk.'
I get a phone call at the office yesterday. 'Ed, I give in. She can talk.'
I ask what she(DW) is talking about.
Apparently the door to a bedroom that is usally closed was left ajar yesterday morning. This door tends to close itself. HK found the opportunity and went in when no one was home. It appears the door shut and she tried to get open it only to push on it enough for it to latch.
DW got home early and heard her barking. But it wasn't her normal bark, according to DW. It was like a plea for help. DW came up the stairs to find her, and let her out. She told me that HK went absolutely nuts, circling her, jumpin gup trying to lick her face, making all kinds of strange noises she never heard before. She told me that she is absolutely convinced that HK was pleading for freedom and then thanking her so much for letting her out.
Hershey Kisses, In charge of getting Ed out to the dog park so that he gets some exercise.
LOL! What a smartie you are, HK!!
The boys talk all the time! 'Bout time DW realized that HK talks, too.

heehee! good girl, HK!
Some are slower then others but they all come around eventually- good girl HK!
Sometimes it just takes time to really hear them.
You have to listen to them they do tell you exactly what they want you to know.
I am forever telling Cinnamon she might as well speak english as I never have any doubts about what she wants.
