DefaultPortable Corral For The Herd PHOTO ADDED

We had a fenced in area with a wooden floor that we called the dog dryer. I built a woodworking shop in that area and it never got replaced.

We'll be staying at our daughter's for a week attending our granddaughter's wedding. The dogs are going (of course) and we'll take our travel trailer to stay out of everybody's hair. I was looking into portable kennels and nothing seemed big or sturdy enough.

I'm a country boy and spent a lot of time on local farms growing up. It occured to me that a "cattle panel", which is a section of fence 50" high and 16 feet long would serve well because it is made of heavy guage wire and is self-supporting. Of course, 16 feet would not be manageable so I took my bolt cutters with me and cut them to 8 feet. When I got home, I stood them in a square and joined three of the corners with some cable ties. The forth corner is the "door" and is joined with a couple snap links off of old collars. I have some aluminum tent pegs (somewhere) that will serve to achor the bottom and I'm going to build a sunshade for it. I have two more 8 foot panels and may make a hexagon if the dogs are crowded. Pics tomorrow..it got dark on me.

When we're not traveling, we'll have our dog dryer back and we can move it around the yard as needed.

This morning I added a panel to make a pentagon:

That looks like it should work well for what you need. Good job.
