But those are all SUVs or SWs!

How come there are no pickups with a large truck bed so the dog can have space to roam around in?

IIRC, aren't all of them based on keeping the dog in a crate behind the back (2nd) seat while driving?

In my 4 dr. Honda Civic Hybrid, Puff spends most of her time in the back seat lying down. Alternatively, she rides on the passenger side front seat, either reclined on the reclined back of the front seat or, sometimes, sitting with her rump 3/4 of the way up on that reclined seat back, front legs splayed out to steady her.

I was drawn to this HCH in part because it has an automatic airbag turnoff for front seat passengers that weigh less than 80 lbs. (Puff weighs 60), leather seats, (and also because they put in a sun/moon roof).

    Good to know.
