some dogs go bonkers from the stress of being in a kennel. this is one of the worst i've seen. and the longer they are in there; it affects them mentally, physically and emotionally. so very sad.
I use to have a dog, that feared being in the kennel, even though he kenneled well at home. He wouldn't go this far, and lose his bowels and such, but he would do what he could to get out of the kennel Including digging up his face, as he tried to get under the kennel doors. We switched kennels, and once we did that he was fine. It is almost like he had a fear of the kennel he was at. After the bad incident, he never had a problem again. Heres hoping moving his poor fella, gives him a chance at life.
I wonder if he's just that scared of the kennel and/or confused. I mean, he doesn't know where he is or who those people are. Especially if he came from a home, it would be a shock.
There are a lot of dogs that are completely freaked out by being in a kennel with so many other dogs barking their heads off... especially young dogs or dogs that haven't been exposed to large numbers of dogs at once.
Poor puppy..
