There are a few toys that I have gotten that Jacey or the other dogs never liked. One being one she got from her breeder. its an its a stuffed animal of some kind with a squeeky in it. Shes NEVER played with it.. EVER.. THe other dogs wouldnt even touch it.
Im sitting here at the computer and I here a squeeky toy and cant figure out what it is since they had destuffed everything. she jumps up on the bed.. and in her mouth is the toy I got from her breeder.. Shes never touched the thing in her life and shes had it for over a year...
Do you keep toys in the toy box that they dont play with or like? Have they one day just took them out and stated to play with them?
Short answer, YES!
Hershey Kisses, In charge of getting Ed out to the dog park so that he gets some exercise.
Same here. The basket is overflowing and his preference changes every few months.Originally Posted by Endofile
Yes. Ours too. It also seems that they enjoy emptying the toy box as much as the toys themselves. When it's empty, I pick up the toys to refill the box, and they almost immediately start emptying it again. It's funny to watch them 'select' which toy or bone to bring out next.
yp, same here, i just toss all of them in a basket.
there are a few toys that are 'favorites' or 'regulars' and others are 'duds'. but just like jacey did, everyone once in a while they'll pull out a 'dud' and act like it's a long lost treasure.
Yes, here, too. Every once in awhile I'll go through and give away/donate some that never seem to get played with, tho, but that's maybe every 3-4 years.
Oh yeah...I will put the toys in their box...and one by one they get them out!
Its quiet funny as Jazz has played with all her toys a bit and her teddy is always in her bed when she is sleeping lol so cute x x
We keep 'em. Murphy and Riley had some toys that just didn't interest them and were relegated to the bottom of the toy box. Piper knows no such restraints. Any toy is her friend...and yet another opportunity to destroy something.
