Beautiful day here today, so took Pitch outside to be brushed. Holy Hair Batman!!! I figure the birds will be happy with some of the hair that got away. My question, is this will be my first long hair dog. Is it normal to see a lot of dander after brushing? Is it something I am doing wrong, lack of something in his diet? Or is it just something that you see on black dogs. Just seems like the more I brushed the more flakey he got. Though he does look more handsome after his brushing.
I think it is typical after a long winter, were the dogs are in the house with dry heat. Jefferson does that sometimes, but since I have been giving him fish oil tablets with his meals, not so much.
Well, I think it is supposed to have beneficial health benefits, but frankly I give them to him to prevent dandruff!!
