I was also going to mention the collar while they are playing I know several dogs who have gotten tied up and it's really scary and can cause a lot of injury. I didn't think about it until someone here mentioned it as well.

Hes enjoying it. One thing that I have noticed just yesterday it that when Duncan gets too close that something he considers his, like the marble at the base of the fireplace or spot on the human bed he will block him. I'm guessing this is normal. They get along just great. Whats more surprising is the interest that Duncan has taken in our little spaniel mutt. Shes 10yr old. Shes like the mom dog. It's too funny. When they start getting too rough and out of control she will quickly run over there and straighten them out. Its funny to see a 20lb dog put them in their places, and Duncan loves it for some reason.Originally Posted by Blackjack
