Oh BOY! You've brought me back to something I must check into..
There is a woman with our rescue organization who is really itching for a dock dog.
Flynn would be her dog. She knew Flynn from the rescue group... I would LOVE to see him do this sport. He's made for it... me is MEANT for it

I am going to try to watch a dock diving competition next Friday. There is one in the next town on that day. I need to learn more about it before I take Payton. Looks like fun. I don't think Payton is intense enough about retrieving, but she does tend to get jazzed up around other dogs. You should do it!

we have a dock diving club about 20 minutes from my house and i have thought time and again of taking cinder to get started. she would be incredible because she is so tight muscled and lanky and would fly over the water but she is older and i don't know that we have gotten her use to the water enough for her to jump straight into it. i also thought she would be great for agility because of her speed.

I wish we had stuff like that here to do. We don't have dog parks or clubs or agility or anything like that in my area. We did have obedience classes before I even got my dogs, but I think the people that did them have retired now. I guess I have to pay the price for wanting to live in the wilderness. At least the dogs have fun in the woods.

It looks like so much fun from what I have seen. I am planning on going to the outdoor show in Toronto next week to see the Dock Dogs and a bunch of other doggie things. Can't wait, I haven't ever seen it in person, so it should be really fun! Since we got Cooper this past November, I haven't seen him swim and I really hope that he loves it. I haven't dreamed about it yet, but think about it lots. ;D
