Payton does not do very well with the skijor harness; I think it's kind of like teaching a dolphin to type. She is not made to pull. She would much rather sniff and run free unless there is someone else out there with us, when she will pull to catch up to them. It was quite the balancing act with the dog, the skis and the camera- quite entertaining, I'm sure ;D
We're doing what?? You know how to ruin a good day
I feel important up her showing off my harness.
Is this how we do it?
I'd rather go and smell these bushes. Here we go...Try not to crash, Mom.
This idea sucks. Tie me to the tracks and run me over.
If I close my eyes maybe you will go away.
Great pictures and captions!
Aren't we comfortable!
This was what I needed to pick up my afternoon at work! Love the pics and the captions!

My dog rocky would be ace at Skijor, my great failing as a Lab dad is never really being able to teach him to to pull.

I have always wanted to truy skijoring and have often dreamed of harnessing one of the dogs up and letting them "help" me ski along. I guess I should re-think that. No?
Great pictures! Payton is hysterical.
Murphy, Riley, and Piper
Don't know which is better, the pics or the captions. Both are great!
Hershey Kisses, In charge of getting Ed out to the dog park so that he gets some exercise.
How did you find the experience? I was hoping to take a course with Rocky this year but it didn't work out (next year!). I figure he'd just stand there and stare at me

What a coincidence! My husband had a similar experience with Jack's first time in the harness today ($60). And yet Jackson just loves to pull with a leash.
Great pictures and captions.
