DefaultFunny incident at the dog park

On Saturday, SU and I took Sundance to a dog park near us for the first time. The place is huge, so when we got there, we walked around, exploring the perimeter. Sundance and a cute mutt were walking along nearby, sniffing the ground. The other dog's owner was maybe 20 feet away. I called Sundance, and the mutt's owner gave me a strange look.

"'Sawdust?' Is that your dog's name?" I was laughing so hard I could barely correct her. Then she cracked up, too.

For the rest of the weekend, our boy was Sawdust. We were sorry he didn't have a sibling to call Woodchip.

Ah yes, we need to get out more. ;D

Sawdust, eh? Well it is a unique name. I'd have been LMBO too.
