Logan had surgery on his boil and it is being culutred and biopsied. This snowy weather is making it extremely hard to keep his bandages dry when he goes to "do his business." I was thinking of getting some muttluks, but I can picture him really resisting them and trying to get them off. As of now, we've been using several plastic bags when he goes out and they are not too reliable. Anyone use muttluks?
I've used muttlucks for two years now (well, two winters).
Rocky is very easy going. He still just stands there when I put them on, I have to coax him to walk, but once he gets going it's all good.
The first few times I wasn't tying them tight enough and one or two fell off. I'm much better at putting them on (and i think it's better once they break in) as well. I haven't lost one yet!
Are there any pet stores you can try them on before buying? to see how your pup reacts?
Charlie (foster) and Rocky
yeah i hope they carry them! i'll definitely have him try them on first, not sure what size to go with.
I've used them both as boots when it's very icy out, and as splint/bandage covers!! Henry has broken his toe twice, and each time (obviously) we had to keep the splint/bandage dry! It was the only thing that worked for us... ziploc bags and grocery bags just didn't cut it.
I'd highly recommend them!!
Henry doesn't seem to mind them in the least.
Hope Logan heals quickly!
ok great! i'll pick some up tomorrow. thanks for the help!
I've literally tried every brand that I could get a hold of for Peanut and muttluks are the only ones that fit well/comfortably AND last! They're on their second winter and still in great shape. And we use them a lot!
