I was lucky enough to have last week off work.
Needless to say I spent a lot of time with the dogs, both walking and playing and generally giving them lots of fuss and attention.
We went on a daily walk of about 2 miles across farm land and woodland but all pretty flat due to having 2 senior citizens and a growing pup, don't want to over exert anyone.
This morning I was back at work and had to endure 6 doe eyes all looking longingly up at me as I put my jacket on for work.
I work 9~3 and a neighbour lets them out for me at lunchtime so it's not too bad, but it doesn't stop me feeling guilty about having to leave them.
As soon as I got in tonight, before I even took my coat off i took them all out for a walk I took the camera and got a few nice shots to share.
I wish I could stay at home with them all the time but I just couldn't afford to give up my job, such is life, but last week was nice whilst it lasted~ :-\
Signs of Spring
The daffodils are beginning to shoot.
as are the cat's tails.
The stream wasn't as cold, 'cos Jasper went in without a fuss.
Signs it's still winter
Holly still has berries on
Where there's holly, Ivy is usually nearby!
A frozen mole hill and a fascinated puppy.
Winter sun setting across the field.
Do you see now why those faces make me feel so guilty?

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.
