There is a forrestry commission near our house, where we walk the dogs and where, at Christmas time they sell freshly cut trees.
Where the tree sales are there is a Santa's grotto set up and the gift that the children receive is a little tiny pine tree seedling that they can plant, nurture and grow into their own Christmas tree.
When my son received his last Christmas I planted it in a tub in the garden.
Well, i let the dogs out in the back yard this afternoon and long after the oldies came back in I realised that the Jedmeister still hadn't returned.
Thinking he must be up to trouble i peeked out of the window and this is the sight that met my eyes.....(quickly grabbing the camera and sneaking up on him)
Caught in the act!
"What are you doing?"
sorry mom, i can't look you in the eye!
sorry mom, shall i get the broom?
I replanted the tree, and 10 minutes later the bugger had done it again...it's a good job i love him, i tell ya!
"some days you are the dog, some days you are the tree!"

OMG, that is so funny!!! I hope your son understands!
You can't stay mad at the poor guy. But it sure looks like his good phase is over and the real lab appears.
Jed, you're a naughty little boy. :-* :-*
