DefaultWhen Flynn suffers, so does Seamus :(

In the middle of the night last night Flynn had one of his longest seizures ever. Start to finish (when he regained his legs) about 30 minutes. He fell so many times, and at one fall I thought he had injured his back. Not the case, I'm happy to report.

Seamus came flying to his rescue mid-seizure. I had to tell him "OFF!" several times. I didn't want him hurt from Flynn's thrashings about. :'(

When it was all over, I laid down on the couch. Wanted to be sure Flynn wouldn't seize again. Well, it's a pretty narrow couch and there I was stretched out with Dar tucked into my knees. Seamus climbed up with about 1/4" to spare on the edge, full press on my chest and one long back leg dangling off. OOOF! "Mom? Why were you playing with Flynnie all alone in the dark without ME? Don't you love me anymore?"

He wouldn't get off the couch, I couldn't move, Flynn was finally asleep on his floor blankie.

So we just stayed that way until Shea melted down onto the floor beside his brother; Seamus "spooned" Flynnie. And there we all stayed until morning.

Flynn is his usual rogue self today and Seamus has his momma's full attention again.

Aaaww poor boy, it must be quite frightening to watch, no matter how used you are to seeing it, I'm glad Flynn came out of it unharmed, and had his brother there to take care of him...whether he wanted it or not!

Do you think it's time to reevaluate his meds for the seizures? Poor guy. My Tucson had grand mal seizures.
