DefaultLeptospirosis (With the warmer weather coming) Warning!

Just thought I'd post this, my mom lost one of her dogs and a puppy Lab that she had due to this ugly disease, We almost lost Aries too from this and had no idea at the time what was happening, just wanted to get the warning out there for people that don't know about it.

Question. The first time I took Jazzy for her shots, she had a terrible reaction to this shot. Her face was so swollen she didn't resemble a dog. She has never had another one. Do you think now that she is older, 2, it would be safe for her to have it? We have several acres of flat land around the house and the water can lay for days after a heavy rain.

Linda, I think there are a few different strains, they don't have shots for all the strains as far as I remember, so you still have to be careful, I know that because Aries got the disease himself, the vet told me to be careful because his kidney's can't take it if it happens again, he would probably die.
