    DefaultHad to share...

We are expierencing horrible winds, Still trying to find out if they can be classified as hurricaine winds. Everything is closed. Winds, blowing snow, ice..you name it. Well I have this Labrador. He is laying out in the snow, enjoying the wind. I look out, and he found a shoe...not sure where he found this shoe, but it doesn't belong to our family. I am not going to go chase him in this weather...to darn cold out. So for now, he is out there having a blast with someones shoe!

I still think we are in Kansas!

Our DD is in KC. She called last night to tell us about the blizzard down there. Fortunately they didn't have the low temps. Just wind and snow.

Where are you located? We had terrible winds yesterday too. At one point they said 10,000 Arkansans had lost power.

I went outside this morning and the plastic chair and footstool I have in the yard was sticking out of the fence. They have been impaled (sp?). We supposedly had winds in excess of 50 mph yesterday, maybe more.

I work for an insurance company and this morning we already had 500 claims before noon.

We're having 50mph winds in DE also. Temp has dropped from 45 to 38 since this morning and continues to fall. No snow or rain though. I went home at lunch and didn't take Riley for her walk....tree branches dropping like leaves. She is not very happy with me right now, so I gave her a stuffed kong before putting her back in her crate. I don't think I'll get away with no walk tonight though :-\....

Buffalo! How much snow have you had so far this year. I remember seeing pictures from years past with 6 feet or more piled up.

Compared to where we should be, we are below average in snowfall. This season in Buffalo we have had 51.1 inches. Normal for this time would be 60.6. inches. Yet I live North of Buffalo and we don't normally get as much snow as our neighbors in Buffalo.
