I went to the store during the day yesterday and picked up a 20# bag if IAM's for Bob and Darla. Nothing abnormal and went about going to work on 2nd shift.
Fast forward to my drive home which is about 35 minutes. As I was leaving the parking lot I remembered that I left the bag of food on the floor by the dining room table. Talk about a 35 minute drive taking hours. All I could picture was a black and a yellow lab laying on the floor with belly's bloated and a torn open empty bag of food in the background.
Pulled into the driveway and at least I heard barking. Opened the door and business as usual. Darla had the throw pillow in her mouth and Bob doing his happy dance. The bag of food sat peacefully where I left it. Thank goodness!
Those pups showed alot of restraint! They need a treat. ;D
I hope both dogs got some kind of treat that they left alone in your absence.
Hershey Kisses, In charge of getting Ed out to the dog park so that he gets some exercise.
Happy ending! That's one of my fears too so I keep the kibble bags in another room.
Whew..I can imagine the thoughts going thru your head. Scary! Good dogs..huh!!!
Wow, I know that feeling and its not nice! Good dogs!
Courtney, Bogey and Calli
Wow - what good dogs! Great job you two!!
Not to change the subject, but Davis does this too! He will always grab a pillow and bring it to anyone that sees. Like when we get up from sleeping, get home from work or when hes just happy to see someone. Whats with this!? Its like the cutest thing ever.Originally Posted by BradsDarla
I'm lucky that mine will leave the food bag alone too since when we get a new bag it normally sits there for a day or two until I put it in the container.
