    Is the boric acid suppost to dissolve all the way?

    I would say yes. I really shook the container when we made ours to get it to dissolve.

    Yes which is why you shake the container several times before you use it.

    I cant get it to dissolve all the way. It will look like it is for a few seconds but then u can see it on the bottom again :-\

    Mine doesn't either! I just shake it up real well every time before I use it, works fine!

    I did as much shaking as my hands and arms could take. It is still there :-\ and my poor bath tub has little purple dots all over it lol..

    Oh, I should have clarified, I shake till its a little foamy (if using witch hazel) and just squirt - it will settle again. I think that I put more boric acid than I should have, which just means that it has reached the saturation point and won't dissolve anymore. No worries, your solution has enough in it to help the ears! Oh, and clean up that purple stuff now - it will stain.

    it stained as soon as it hit the tub. I tried to clean it up but it didnt work.. purple stuff with a white tub... Not a good match.. But Id rather have it in the tub than on my floors lol
