DefaultCould he finally be ready?! *gasp*

I think Mr. Frankie might finally be ready to go crate-free. I've been leaving him out for periods of time when we leave, most was 2 hours I think. He was fine. Probably snoozed on the couch the entire time. I really think that they won't play bitey face when no one is home because there's no audience. Ya think? It's like when our boys (twins) were small, they only wrestled and fought in front of us - captive audience. :-\

He has been absolutely amazing with Macy, our pupguest (3 month old Golden Ret. female). I think I saw him mature before my very eyes these last couple of days that she's been with us. I'm very proud of him.

I will cross my fingers for you that Mr. Frankie is finally going to be a free man!!

it's funny I've been thinking to myself that Billie is maturing a bit. Just a tiny bit, but it's noticeable. Not enough to be out of the crate mind you but hey, I'll take what I can get!!

Oh good boy Frankie!!!!! now hopfully he won't leave you some pile presents because you changed his crate life? I remember you saying something about moving the crate for the Christmas tree and how he didn't sit well with that and left you a surprise. Sorry that made me LOL alot that day. Sounds like he's ready, can't hurt to try.

How old is Billie again, Leah?
I'm not going to put the crate away, I'll just leave the door open for him. Him and Tucker both take naps in there when we're home. They love it.

Good point, Bucksmom! LOL! I think as long as I don't put the crate away and I leave the crate door open for him, he'll be fine.

    I hope.

I will send good thoughts your way that it works out.

We are going to try and give Tater his own room soon. Let us know how it works out. And let me know of any tricks too. Hate to come home and Tater has eaten his way into the neighbors house. ;D

Billie is 3 but she's a chew monster when it comes to socks and towels and slippers. She's just mischievious. She gets that little glint in her eye and you have to look out. Her little ears get all cuppy when she is having a "monster" moment.

She's going to be a "crater" for life I'm afraid. I'm just NOW getting to where I'll leave her downstairs while I'm upstairs doing laundry and even then I'm checking on her every 15 minutes.

Atta boy, Frankie!! Now no wild bachelor parties if Mom *does* decide to allow you to be crate-free!
