    DefaultPhone Rings at work

Voice on the other end of the phone says "I have a problem" ??? pauses about 5 seconds my dog ate my mom's $2000 refund check that your company sent her. Seems mom auto ins paid us along with her medical insurance.

I told her I needed her mom's permission to talk to her (HIPPA law). Mom who is 73 comes on the line "It's her damn dog she has to deal with it".

Daughter comes back on the line by now I am busting a gut laughing. Explained I have a lab so I understand perfectly. Seems she has a 8 month old chocolate lab and he ate only the routing numbers off it. The rest of the check is perfectly fine.

Needless to say I told her I would get it replaced. She is dropping it by the hospital tonight on her walk so they can interoffice to me so I can do it tomorrow. We discussed not leaving anything where the puppy (Bruno) can get to it. Then compared notes on what our dogs have eaten.

One lucky daughter that wound up getting you and not some dog ignorant uncaring person. Daughter will still have to live with Mom. Doesn't sound like that is fun.
