    DefaultFeeding question

Glenn is home this week with Bentley so it hasn't really been an issue. BUT next week Glenn goes back to work and I only get a half hour for lunch.

It is no problem coming home and letting Bentley out but my question is about that third feeding. (I don't think he should have it until later on as he won't be able to hold it for three hours until I get home at 3:15.

Any suggestions? (having someone come in isn't an option).

I would just move him to two feedings. Baloo only ever got the two feedings, and he was just fine.

That is what I was thinking. It was suggested to me that I feed him at 3:30 and then again at 9 but I think that is setting him up for accidents throughout the night.

I would either do two feedings or do two bigger feedings before and after work then a small meal before bed maybe.

Our two feedings are around 8 am and then around 5-5:30 pm.

I have to leave at 8:20 ~ so wouldn't a feeding before that be better??

We left around 8:30, came back for a pee break around noon (sometimes he pooped too), and then got home around 4:30 and he was fine.

    Okay, I will try this.

Do remember who much Baloo was eating at this age. I have gotten Bentley up to 3/4 of a cup ~ three times a day. I don't know if he could eat much more than that at one sitting....any suggestions..??

Patti I sent my puppies home on two meals a day. I cut out lunch that last week. I give a cookie at noon time instead. They get plenty to eat twice a day. I think that the lunch makes house training even more difficult since it adds another couple of piles and they don't need the extra meal at 8 weeks.

He was eating two cups. At three months he went up to three cups, then four cups at 4 months. That was when he was still on the TLC however, it would be pretty different for Orijen.
