We were playing in the field, as usual. Remington had gone out for a retrieve of his squeaky bone (which I throw for him) and Ruger had gone out for a retrieve of his tennis ball. Ruger launched himself into the air at like 100 mph to catch the ball, and he came down like a missle onto Remington.
Remington went down hard. Stunned Remington. For a few moments Remington didn't even want to move. Then he got up and keep looking at his squeaky bone like the bone caused his hurt.
I was able to hold him still and go over him. Couldn't find anything wrong, even checked in his mouth/teeth as Ruger kinda crumpled into his shoulder/head. After a few minutes, Remington did finally start to walk, and then he rebounded back to his puppy self and was bouncing all over the place again.
I think it really knocked the air out of him. I heard the HUMPFFF when Ruger hit.
Thankfully neither are worse for the wear, but it sure scared me for a few minutes.
Oh bless him, i'm glad he was soon over it.
My MIL's loopy 14mth old yellow did that to Jasper my 10yr old on the beach and it completely winded him for about 20 mins, then he was back to normal.

I am glad they are both OK.. I'll bet both of them will be a little sore later.
Yikes! Scary!! Murray has plowed into other dogs before. When he's playing, he's oblivious to anything/anyone else so I have to always watch out for him.
I'm just so thankful Ruger didn't land on Magnum.
The boys play so hard, there is lots of body slams. They don't seem to do that with Ms. Magnum (thankfully).
Glad he was feeling better to get up. It's so scary when they do that. Mambo tends to do that a lot to other dogs. Sometimes the impact is so loud that its scary.
Scary -- hope they're alright!

It's a wonder they don't kill each other sometimes, the way they play so hard!
OH man, that was scarey !! I'm glad he is ok. Glad they both are ok !
He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.
They know how the scare the )^*&() out of is, don't they?
Sounds like Remington might have gotten scared himself and it took a few mintues to regain his composure. Hopefully nothing shows up later. i.e. I do dumb things, fall, twist, whatever and feel fine. Then I wake up the next morning a near cripple. Just have to let it work out, but does it ever hurt.
