Today I started taking Tal to the park early AM, even in spite of the cold! Anyway, this morning, he would sniff more than usual (same park), wouldn't come when called, and generally decided to test the waters, or ice, I guess. First time he did, I said game over, walked hiom on leash as if we were going home, then turned and tried to play again. He repeated. So we came home for real.
Went back a bit ago and I guess he must have gotten the message because he behaved better than he ever has. Believe me we are working on recall. And he is getting better, but he was either excited to be back playing out that early again or decided to test dad. Either way, not negotible.
They figure out more than they let on, sometimes...it's called testing you!
lol...well if he wants an abbreviated play time, this will be the way to do it! lol.Originally Posted by zoezoe

Good job testing Dad, Tal. And even better job learning the rules.
Dad, you just did what you were supposed to do. Could have read it is a book. No 'Good Boy' for you. just kidding. Nice job.
