DefaultRescue is so the way to go!

I am in love with little Star. when I had her at the vet the doc told me that she has all of her adult teeth and probably won't get much bigger than she already is. She is such a doll. She is definitely house trained, she always lets me know when she needs to go outside and she tolerates her crate so well while I am at work that I have no worries any more.

I have switched her to Blue Buffalo dry food and she is doing so well, her coat is so glossy and just plain gorgeous now and she has put on weight (and I am feeding her less on that than i was of the Science Diet the shelter sent me home with) She is really coming out of her shell now. Her favorite thing to do right now is let me throw her toy and then tear through the house after it, grab it up, and then run heck bent for leather back to the living room, slide on the tile floor and bounce off the sofa and head back for another lap. it is hilarious. She loves my son so much that when he isn't home she looks for him, she will stand outside his bedroom door and whine at it. (maybe I am interpreting this wrong, but it looks to me like she is missing him) i really am so happy I desided to bring her home. She is a blessing. I wouldn't trade her for all the breeder's puppies in the world. (Not that breeders puppies aren't wonderful, they just weren't right for me right now)

Good to hear she's settling in so well. We'll definitely go the rescue route in the future as well.

Thank you for rescuing that sweet girl! Both my boys are rescues, and the little girl in my avatar was, too.

Please post some pics of Star.

    Great that you rescued Star.

Dexter came from Rudys Rescue....I wish I had taken one of his brothers as well.
