Yesterday, dh and I went out bowling. We had a babysitter come in and watch the boys as well as Miss Blue. Anyways, she's always excited when people come to door and we are working on the sit/stay and off commands so she doesn't jump on anyone.
Well, when we came home, we talked to our sitter (dh's cousin) and Blue got a compliment. She said that Blue responded to the off command when she got excited and started jumping on her. She understood it from someone else than me.
This is so encouraging to hear as we have been working on it over 2 months now. I don't start Beginner lessons until Jan 20th!!
And I must say a big "Thank you" to all those whose advice in the Training & Puppy forum has helped Blue and I tremendously.
I know I'm new to the forum...but everyone is awesome here!!
That's such a great feeling, when the training and work you've done seem to really "click"...... enjoy the moment!

We all applaud Blue and Mom. It is so great when we realize that we have gotten through. For me it was offlead recall. Oh! There were other steps that pleased me but I had a lead on her.
