I thought I was doing good today. We hit an unusal Warm Spike in Temperature here in NY. Mommy gets this brilliant idea to go clean up the backyard. I thought to myself, Oh Poop, I am in so much trouble if she steps foot out into my paradise. Didn't take her long to utter words no labrador should hear. First place she head towards was her floral garden. Well you see, She knew I dug it up, so she shouldn't be that mad. Her plan was to rebury all what I dug up. Well all was going as plan then Mom Got this icky look on her face, when she planted her hand in a pile of my poo. She wasn't very happy. She was telling dad the corner I use to use for my bathroom breaks, has now been turned into the whole backyard. Did she not realize how deep the snow was in that back corner???
Dad said not to worry, mommy is just hormonal. I said Daddy, how long is this going to last? He said oh, about 9mos or so. What am I to do, I can't be on moms poop list forever Daddy said I am just to young to understand.
Shannon, you have a new baby on the way??? Did we miss this announcement?
Pitch, you better get used to Mommy being a little ummm...well, different than normal. Not worse, just different, k?? ;D
It wasn't lab related...so forgot to mention. Pitch will be a big brother at the end of the summer.Did we miss this announcement?

Thanks friends, it really came as a surprise.
I feel your pain, man. My mom had the same idea when she got home from work. It was still light outside and she got the brainwave that due to the warm weather today and the amount of snow that melted, she could find some of my buried poops. We went outside together, which was nice. But then she started digging and almost fell into a pile of my best stuff, because the snow was really soft & squishy...sort of like my poops. She said some bad words. I started to dig for my tennis ball and I was really goin' to town, snow was just a flyin' behind me. I hit my mom with some of it. She said more bad words, some I never heard before with my name mixed in. I kept my distance after that. I don't know what to do, because she's not hormonal like your mommy and I have no idea how long this will last. My daddy comes home in July - maybe I'll be safe then.
P.S. My mom said to tell your mom congrats on the baby. Hey - if it's a boy, maybe she'll name it Cooper. It's a good name. ;D
