    DefaultBrody this morning

He was sitting by the kitchen table this morning, doing his usual "pitiful me" begging look while we ate. All of a sudden, his teeth started doing a chattering/chomping action and the skin and muscles on the back of his head were doing a spasm like motion. His eyes were not doing anything unusual during this time. It lasted no more than 10 to 15 seconds. Has anybody ever seen this before?

No, I haven't heard of anything like that.

My rule in our house is the dogs lay down while we are eating. Either under the table or elsewhere. I am a little 'anal' about a dog staring at me and begging when I eat. I know people say not to feed your dogs first, but I have always feed Rowan first ~ it works for us.

Mine do the teeth chattering and eye staring when they are drooling in anticipation of their bowls being put down for their dinner....don't know if this is similar?

Sounds like it could be if there's food involved.

I don't know if it's the same thing, but Judy occasionally gets a spasm on the side of her head/face which lasts only seconds. It doesn't happen often. Vet doesn't know what it is. It's probably just a muscle spasm.
