I take Tal out to the college where I teach alot because the grounds are nice and I can walk him safely off leash after playing. Yesterday, he was sniffing around some bush, a jackrabbit darted out and it was on. I couldn't see where the jackrabbit went but it disappeared into some bushes. I called Tal and he came back so proud of himself for chasing that mean 'ol monster away. lol.
Good boy, Tal! You get that "waskly wabbit!"
Haylee did that once, too. Sniffing around the bushes in the park and then -- out of the bushes runs a jack rabbit -- she took off after it, but she was no match for it's speed. She, like Tal, was quite proud of herself. She was also quite proud of herself when she hunted down and ate a hostess chocolate cupcake!!
Good job Tal!
Nothin' quite like a good rabbit hunt. :P
Shelby came thisclose to getting one in our backyard. The rabbit kept running in circles and darting through the yard. The poor thing seemed to take forever to find it's way under the fence. I was in a panic -- so afraid Shelby would catch it and kill it. I was screaming at her the entire time ... but she didn't hear a thing! :
aww tal! good job! keeping that monster away from your daddy!!
Guy, since you are a newcomer to The Great Plains, be very careful, what appears to be on first glance and ordinary Jack Rabbit, could turn out to be it very vicious cousin, the Jackalope. ;D
If you called Tal off of a rabbit hunt, you should be proud of his excellent recall.
Looks like something that might be found at Wall Drug. ;DOriginally Posted by delmonico
Hershey Kisses, In charge of getting Ed out to the dog park so that he gets some exercise.
And don't you feel safer knowing that w/Tal around, you'll never have to worry about a jackrabbit attack again?
Good Boy, Tal, keep up the good work!
Nothing gets the blood going like a good rabbit hunt. ;D Good boy Tal for coming back to your dad when he called you.
