Thursday - we are in the office and he seems much better. I fixed him boiled chicken breast and rice for breakfast which he ate and kept down, yeah!
I still can't figure out what he ate, unless it was a piece of one the toys I let him operate on after Christmas (the usual surgery - squeakectomy). I wonder if maybe he ate a rock or something at Camp Bow Wow... hard to know. Maybe I'll see what it was later on, ewwww!
We picked up Stoops on Monday night after 3 days at "camp" and as usual, he seemed very tired!
However, on Tuesday he was still moping around and we started to get worried.
Then, this morning, there was a big break in his routine - after fetching the paper he went back upstairs instead of begging for breakfast. We fed him anyway and 5 minutes later he threw up all over the wool rug, oy! Got that all cleaned up and decided to take him to work with me to keep an eye on him. Then he threw up 4 more times before I could get out the door to head to work.
Once at the office, he looked miserable, laying around and shifting alot and not even trying to go through all the offices looking for treats. It was so sad! And even water made him throw up.
At 3:30 we went to our appt at the vet and they decided to do xrays which showed that he had eaten something that appears to be making its way through his system. Whew! He'll go back to work with me tomorrow for close observation and lots of love!
He seems to be feeling better and ate a little rice tonight.
My poor little boy!
Stoops, you gotta stop eating the bad stuff. Sick is no fun and it makes your peeps worry about you.

Hope Stoops is feeling better today.
Thanks for all the good thoughts and wishes. He seems to be on the mend, but still pretty quiet. Just ate some chicken and rice and looks pretty perky!
I had a meeting this morning with someone pretty high up in our institution and I warned her about the dog and asked if it would be OK if he was behind my desk while we met. She LOVED having him here and despite being dressed in a very nice navy blue suit called him over to her for some petting love! As she was leaving I handed her my "fur-roller" - one of those tape things to get the hair off, she laughed!
I'm glad he seems to be feeling better hopefully he passes whatever he ate uneventfully.
For a minute I thought you meant BOB Stoops (from OU)...and...THAT stoops certainly is sick..geez...48-28 to west virginia? SHEESH!
