I measured Bogeys neck at 17". The sizes on the ones Im looking at are 14-18" or 17-24". I know hes still a pup and he will grow would you get the bigger size?

All depends on the collar. Lupine makes a Medium and a Large. The Mediums are 3/4" wide and the Larges are 1" wide, none of the patterns are the same. I wanted thinner collars and certain patterns for the girls and opted for the Medium and extended them fully for them to wear. If they were all just plain colors, I probably would have opted for the large one.

The lady Im getting a collar off of custom makes them. She curently makes them with one D ring , but would be happy to make it with two. So the question is , is there a difference? Do I want one or two D rings? Thanks!

Sammi also measured at 17- I purchased the medium for her and it is more then big enough- she is almost 2 and I don't expect her to do much more growing- I attached some pic.s so you can see! I noticed the second one makes it look a little tight on her, but I can easily fit 2 fingers between her neck and the collar.

You usually measure differently for martingale's than for regular collars. Usually higher up on the neck.
