By my dog! Reggie is sleeping at my feet on the sofa and he is running in his sleep. What a weird sensation.
Blackie and Ranger ...............................Reggie: 1996-2010 "Fly Reggie Fly"
Awwww! What do you think he's doing? Retrieving ducks at a national-level trial? Swimming to save a little girl from drowning?
I can barely type because I have a cat on my lap, and whenever I try to move her she bites me and repositions herself.
I wish I new what they were dreaming about. Sometimes mine start running so fast in their sleep, that the whole bed rocks!
They are so cute when they do that. Jake runs and barks! It is a hoot!
Whenever Puff does that and if it bothers me, I just stroke her gently while softly saying "Sweet Puff, good girl" Her running, jumping, speaking noises, etc., stop immediately.
Puff [YF, AKC field line (from competing HT/FT breeder) 62 lbs, dob: 8-'01]

Oh Reggie! You're just defending the homestead from attack bunnies, I'm sure!

My girls will do that too. I wonder what they are dreaming about.
LOLOL Nathan!!I can barely type because I have a cat on my lap, and whenever I try to move her she bites me and repositions herself.
Someone ought to invent a machine that could show us what our puppers are dreaming of!
I love when they do that! Baloo sometimes growls in his sleep and shakes his head a bit. I think he's dreaming about playing tug, because that's the only time he ever growls in real life!
I hate it when he has bad dreams, though, and he whimpers. I always wake him up gently when he does that. "Baloo? Its OK buddy.... wake up..." *thumpthumpthump* softly tells me he's semi-awake and the dream is over.
Baloo - 5 year old black lab

It's fun too watch isn't it ?
