DefaultDo You Get Your Breeder A Christmas Gift?

Wondering if you give your breeder anything at Christmas? I usually send mine a card, but this year I wanted to do a little something extra because I get so much enjoyment out of my dogs. My breeder lost two of the pups they planned on keeping this year when they got out of the kennel and both were hit by cars on the overpass by their house. This devasted her and her husband, needless to say. I painted a little tribute to Pearl and Di (the pups). I matted and framed it for her as well. I hope she will enjoy it.

Here's the little painting I did, before I framed it...

That's a beautiful painting. How sad about the dogs. I'm sure your breeder will appreciate the gift.

I am just sending Riley and Cooper's Christmas pic and a card to Coop's breeder.

Beautiful painting Linda. I am sure she will treasure it as much as I treasure mine.

No I don't give the breeder a gift. She was great when Kassa was dx, but was nasty when I told her Erns had H.D.

I didn't with Rowan's breeder last year or this year. :-[

As Bentley's breeder has offered thier home to us to stay in January I will be taking them some wine. We have developed a special friendship and haven't even met in person but I know in the years to come something will find its way to thier home during the Christmas season. I hope to take some good shots of the dogs while I am there and do a scrapbooking page and frame it and will send that to her next year.

The painting is beautiful and a very thoughtful gift. I gave my breeder a framed picture of my dogs.
