Sleeping in my nice warm bed on a Saturday morning when all of a sudden two fat ass dogs jump on the bed with buts a wagging and tounges a slurping. I am sure in their little minds they are saying "Come on old man time to get up!"
Hunter begging to go to the dog park
Come on old man, I have seen dirt move faster than you
So we drive to the park, with Hunter whining all the way - hurry up hurry up! I look in the rear view mirror and this is what I see, it is going to be a cold walk!
But the boys do not care so off we go!
Duke down by the river
Hunter checking out the open water
Should we venture out on the ice? Not yet boys, not thick enough yet
Back out in the prairie grass
Not sure what happened here, but Hunter is now a 3-legged dog
Hey boys are you ready to go home!
Oh yea, it warmed up, from when we first started, its a freaking heat wave!
What an adventure! I bet the dogs were very happy they got the "old man" out of bed. Look like they had the best time!

Great pics!! Looks like your boys had a great time!!
Brrrr ... not too cold for the labbies, though. Looks like they had a blast!!
Didn't realize what the temp was Sat morning. I thought it was 0 F. Now I know why I quit after one round and missed you. It was beautiful though, blue sky, nice sun.
A lot better this morning, I thought it must hve been in the upper teens. Three trips arond and was set to send you an email calling you a whimp for not bringing the boys out. Your lucky i saw you on the way out. We sure are lucky to hve that place. The county guy was there with his snowmobile and rail compactor when we got there this morning.
Yea! for Duke and Hunter. What did Dad do with your fourth leg, Hunter? Better get him to give it back.
Hershey Kisses, In charge of getting Ed out to the dog park so that he gets some exercise.
Looks like fun. What a good Dad taking them out in that temp.
Your photos clearly show what an amazing playground Duke & Hunter have. No wonder they were so eager to drag you out of bed; and as you clearly showed, it DID warm up . . .
Sorry about your leg, Hunter, maybe Santa will bring you another one!
BTW the Dirt Moving photo - PRICELESS.
You are an awesome doggie dad!! Beautiful pics, too!
Egads!! Well I know where I WON'T be moving to.
Great pictures though.
