Anyone else?
I tried to "shake" him last night to the point I was walking in a circle around the house, he had to be w/ me
every
step
of
the
way
I don't mind stepping over him while he's sprawled out in front of the kitchen sink, or stepping over him to get my towel after coming out of the shower, or sliding him out of the way to get dinner in the oven...DH was not amused and decided that NOW was the time to get him to stop, sit, stay (although he does this when asked). DH started to call him "c*ckblocker"
Yeah, ok. I guess you don't feel like fighting the dog for my affection.
Poor Keb - I went upstairs to bed, and he was confined to the living room until DH came up. He looked so pitiful lying there with his paws crossed, like the nice young mandog he is - then the whining started. No, not whining, growing, moaning, sighing. It was so funny yet so pathetic.
Yes, we refer to Mambo as my shadow. He is always there.
both of the dogs are connected to my ankles when i am home. abbey loves being within watchful distance of me (incase she is too lazy or tired to follow me from room to room) and cinder whines when i shut her out of the bathroom. both of them have to be in there with me incase i sneak out another door (there is only one way in or out of our bathrooms). i wouldn't have it any other way though. i don't know how many bruises i have had over the past 8 years from stepping or tripping over dogs in my house.

Yeah I have one of those too. My hubby gets a little upset, he'll get home from work and Bogey gets all excited to see him, as soon as I leave the room I hear "hey where you goin, Bogey, come see me, whatever go see mommy". It makes me feel bad but its not like the dog doesnt like him. Bo our last dog was the same way, and he was HIS dog before he was ours.
Courtney, Bogey and Calli
I have two of those. ;D Especially when I'm cooking.
I have a black shadow all the time. When I am in the kitchen I have a yellow and black one. ;D

Mocha is my shadow and Zeus is hers so therefore I have both of them under my feet all the time. I think it upsets my DH too sometimes that they don't pay much attention to him but he doens't do much with them whereas I feed them, let them out, walk them, take them places, play with them...
"Velcro" was the name of the dog that convinced Dan that we needed a black lab....
Kate
Baloo - 5 year old black lab
Peanut - 7 year old minpin
Monster - 3-ish year old frenchie/jack, rescue
We're Superdogs!
I have a 2 and a 4 legged one. The two legged one is a Hemmroid, and the 4 legged one is Velcro. They compete for my time. Pretty sad when the two year old runs around screaming My turn, My turn to Pitch, cause he wants to latch on to my hips.
yep, i have two Velcros here too.
both my boys are usually either underfoot, right beside me, or on top of me.
if i move across the room, they move; when i vacuum, Theo moves with me to each room throughout the house.
i love it
