I finally have a dog I can see at night.
I had HK out a half hour ago, with her LED collar on and all of a sudden I realize I don't need it. That dark brown fur is as easy to see as any dog. As long as that other dog isn't white, and as long as we have fresh snow on the ground. :)
As easy as it was to see her in this daylight photo.

Hehe, yep! This is the time of year us yellow owners lose ours though! I bought my two some flashing red collar lights to see them as well.

What kind did you end up getting? With one black lab and one dark chocolate lab, it sure would be nice during our off leash walks in the woods, especially with it getting dark so early.
I saw one on line by Nite-Dawg which lights on a continuous tube (and has on-off switch) and battery compartment is enclosed. Someone gave us one of the flashing red bulbs that clip onto the collar, but it dangles and I'm afraid it could easily get caught on something or broken.

I have the one carried by Petsmart. (About $20) It is a collar that I click on at night. Battery enclosed, red LED that lights a band around about half the collar. I only use it for the light.

It appears to be much better, more light with some pretty good testimonial. When the one I have fails, I intend to get this one to replace it. About twice the price.
