Murray is on my shit list right now. >
We went to the Arts Festival yesterday and bought some food items like soup mixes, dip mixes, salsa, etc. My daughter left the bag of goodies on the table without my knowledge. We went out to dinner last night and when we got home I found soup and dip mixes strewn all over the floor and ground into the carpet. > I wanted to kill Murray then. I should have. I vacuumed up the mess and put the remaining items away...except the salsa which I put on the counter as far back as possible and put some other items in front of it thinking it would be safe. It's in a jar after all. :
Today we went to brunch and to do some shopping. I came home to a scene straight out of Psycho. There is blood and salsa and glass EVERYWHERE! Murray was pleased as punch too, the little shit. > I spent an hour wiping salsa off the walls, doors, floors, cabinets, and from under the appliances. Then vacuumed up glass from 3 rooms. I'm worried that he may have eaten some of the glass because most of the salsa had been eaten but the jar had shattered. I picked up some large pieces of glass with the label intact and found little pieces in 3 different rooms (open floor plan) but not enough to make up the entire jar.
I'm POd but I'm worried too. Any advice...other than lock everything away? I remember someone on here using cotton balls when their dog ate glass.
I think it was real cotton balls (no the imiation) soaked in milk.
I have also heard bread - wonder bread type bread - might work to bind things too
tho I haven't tried it ....
poor you - what a mess to clean up - I'm suprised you don't want to kill your daughter too

Yes, my dogs ate a Christmas ornament, glass. Feed him REAL cotton, cotton balls, about three or four big ones. It should wrap around any glass in his intestines and help him pass it. I had to dip mine in Cool Whip to get Magnum to eat them, but she did.
Oh Murray, you were bad, weren't you? Not the time of year to get on Santa's naughty list.

Thanks everyone. I knew I could count on you.Hehehe...one of the ladies at agility bought her dog a shirt that I apparently now need to buy for Murray. It says "but Santa...I can explain." ;DOriginally Posted by bibber
I'm pretty sure he's getting coal this year. He'll probably eat it. :
Good grief! I hope if he did eat any glass that it passes without incident.

Oh no. I hope he will be okay. Poor you for having to clear his messes up and worry about him.
