Rush has started pacing back and forth and stretching like a play bow. She has gas too and acts like she is uncomfortable and wants you to rub her tummy. Any suggestions as to what this might be and how we can help her???? Our emergency animal clinic isn't open. Please, does anyone have any clue as to what this might be??? I'm starting to panic.
I don't know what the heck to do. She is belching and pacing and whining. I guess I'll give it a while longer then take her back to the e-vet. I'm so scared.
Well, she paced and stretched the whole night, and finally about 7:30 she started to settle a little. Since I was up with her the whole night, we went to bed and she slept soundly until 10:00ish when I got up. She seems much better however she is very quiet for Rush. I suspect that she still feels pretty lousy. I'm trying to get my vet, so far no luck. My daughter will take her in 1st thing tomorrow since I just found out we have a funeral at church tomorrow and I have to be there. :If Rush relapses, I'll take her back to the e-vets. When they released her they supposedly gave her a pain shot but to be perfectly honest, I saw no relief for her. None. I wonder if they gave it at all. So right now she is laying on the bed, resting. If she is half as tired as I am she'll sleep all afternoon.
Thanks for your support and concern. My stomach hasn't stopped churning yet. It's nice to be able to connect with someone who has been there too.
Sorry no advice, but sending good thoughts to you and Rush!

Does her stomach look at all distended?
She could have the tummy flu we all have had it recently. Cinnamon was like that she felt better with her belly being rubbed.
has she had a normal BM today?
awww, poor girl. Hope its nothing....
Wow, no idea. It does sound like a bad case of gas, perhaps. Can you get her to go for a walk? There is no better cure for gas than a walk. It helps it move out of the intestines. You could try it a little ways and see if it seems to help. ?
I'm so sorry she's not feeling well. I hope it's better soon.

Hope it's only a bad case of gas. Did you try taking Rush for a walk?
