Well, as you know, we don't take the dogs outside of our property very much since we moved over here. And traffic is generally hellacious, so having them in the car just for a ride isn't something we normally think to do. But the other day when Mark got home, Toby jumped straight into the car and refused to get out. So yesterday (being the holy day when most everyone here is at home or at mosque, so traffice is much lighter than the other days), we took them out for about an hour.
I guess because I live here now and don't consider it exotic or beautiful (I find it distressingly ugly and dirty, actually), I took no pictures of anything outside of the car. But I did snap a few of the puppers in the back, and I can say they definitely were enjoying themselves.
And what was really funny was on the way back home we decided to stop at a vegetable stand (one of the few things that was open, and they also have fantastic produce here). As we were pulling out, a guy came up and indicated he wanted to go to the back of the car, Mark thought it was to help us out of a tight parking spot and watch for oncoming traffic. It was actually to stick his nose against the back window and look at Toby and Chamois! It's not a dog culture over here at all, and most Arabic people are not particularly fond of dogs and many are outright afraid of them. But although this guy spoke no English (and our Arabic is extremely limited), he made it very clear to us that he thought we had some gorgeous dogs and he most definitely liked them. It was very sweet.
We'll have to take them for a ride again soon, obviously.
Toby and Chamois say: GO STEELERS!
They are definitely car ride loving dogs.
Love your pics. It's obvious they don't ride in the car very often... I scrutinized for a single dog hair and none to be found.

Glad they enjoyed the ride!
Look at their tongues. LOL

Glad they got out for a car ride. Maybe it's better they're not out when there's a lot of traffic, since dogs aren't common there....you might cause a traffic jam with rubberneckers. ;D
Cute pictures. Looks like they had fun!
Aaawww your guys looked like they had fun, how sweet that the veggie guy so obviously liked them, it must be hard if you like something but your religion or culture isn't so keen-
