    DefaultRider has a lump....

We found a lump on Rider tonight...on his right side. It's not huge, but I hadn't noticed it before.

Guess I will be putting a call into the vet to have them check it out.

    *sigh*

*sigh* is right !! Seems like there 's always something, huh ? Good thoughts for Rider, that it's nothing serious.

Don't panic. You know about those annoying fatty cysts. Paddy is loaded with them in all sorts of sizes from pea-size to marble-size to a dandy golf ball sized one. Just discovered one on Flynn, too. So far Seamus is "lump-free".

Good thoughts for Rider from here. Let us know.

it's most likely nothing. but i know that doesn't make you feel any better. i've gone thru numerous "bump" scares with Dryf. Even one the vet was afraid off! (had hair in it, eww! massy, not one lump)

    sending positive vibes your way.

I'm sorry Dani. When Shanny's popped up it seemed to pop up overnight. If you can't get in to the vet right away, give him 50mg of benedryl 3 x a day. That's what my vet had me do between the biopsy and the surgery to keep Shanny's tumor from growing. We suspected a MCT though and MCTs respond to benedryl for some reason.

Hopefully its nothing serious and is benign.
