Bobbie saw the specialist who the vet referred her to on Monday. They took more xrays and did some exploratory tests. They found that Bobbie's leg (the one damaged by the cars) was naturally bowed. She had been born that way. This means that they can't repair the ligaments without correcting that first. Her knee is also very displaced.
So she is booked in for Friday to have the leg bone reset and the knee correctly positioned. They are also going to clear out any debris there is.
They said it is likely that she may still need the full ligament reconstruction at a later date.
She'll have to be in Friday night and they said it would be beneficial for her to stay the whole weekend to keep her immobolised. :'( :'(
I am so upset about all of this. My poor baby. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers this weekend. TIA.
Will keep her in my thoughts and prayers.
No more running into the street Bobbie. Do you hear me? It is not good.
Hope the vets are able to fix you up and that you heal well and quickly.

Aww--poor Bobbie. Good thoughts that the surgery makes a huge difference.
Awww...that's too bad. I would be upset too.....prayers on the way for your baby.
I keep telling her that chasing cars is never a good idea. I just get "the look". Lol. I should sue Subway! It was their bloody metal shutter that has caused all this trouble.Originally Posted by Endofile
