I am thinking that if he hasn't caught on yet, he won't. He will be 2 in March.I don't mind either way. I think its funny.

Does any of your males still not lift the leg?

Jake isn't old enough yet. Seamus lifts his leg (sometimes on Jake's head)

Ty might not be old enough but he's 14 months and still doesn't lift the leg.

Luke started at 7 months, Bo started about 11 months. Actually, Bo just sort of stood there and leaned forward for a while there before actually lifting. The first time I saw it we were at agility. He marked the tree before doing his run. LOL

Some dogs pick it up naturally but for others it is very much a learned behavior.

;D Erns thinks peeing on someone is way more fun as well.

Which is most of the time he squats. I think it is because his hips are sore. However he can manage to lift it when it is some place he shouldn't pee.

Toby does the girlie squat. It drives DH nuts, but I'm just as glad - it's far less messy.
