    DefaultNov 10/11 DP photos

And you thought I would let the weekend go by without some DP photos. These do prove something though. An expensive camera does not a photographer make.

We had a beautiful day here today. Frost on the ground in the morning, but it hit 60F. Pretty warm for Nov 11 in MN.

We had a nice group of dogs today, including an 18 week old German Short Haired Pointer that got along well with the big dogs. He took this fantastic jump down the river bank to the water. I will let Hunter tell you about Duke's adventure if he so chooses.

Anyway, here is a shot when I remembered Ihad a camera hanging on my neck of the blk of todays group.

The Rotweiler (tough to see to the right) is the same age as HK and probably 10 lbs heavier. He is one solid dog, but as gentle as any of the labs.

A standard of HK in the woods

Contemplating going for a swim or not.

Duke and Chip ( as in chocolate chip) playing tug over a stick that Duke found. HK decided to let the big boys fight over it.

Looks like a lovely area to walk in.

    Is it fenced?

This one is not fenced yet. Was supposed to be earlier this year, then postponed to this fall. (Doesn't look like they will make it, but the fence line is marked. The thing is that the park is huge, over 40 acres just for the dogs. Bordered by the Crow River on one side, and the county road that goes around the other is not a high traffic road. So, minimal recall control is usually adequate. The Labs like to stay within sight of us.

Ahhhh it was a great morning.

Walked a lot Dogs had a great time and Duke decided to roll in some type of crap >. Which Hunter had to investigate so he rubbed up against Duke and smeared crap all over himself. So off to the river we go, merrily following two dogs that smell like crap >

Into the 50 degree river we go for a nice scrub down, couple of retreives and they are better but the still stink. But I did get a chance to use the new pet wash in town!

I have some more pics will post later when i get them uploaded.
